AI voice SDR · Australian B2B outbound
The fastest way to judge this is to be on the other end of it.
Put in your mobile and Dialessa will ring you and try to sell you Dialessa. It opens cold, tells you it is an AI, takes whatever objection you throw at it, and tries to book you in. Hang up on it if you like. That is the point.
- One call, to the number you enter. Never added to a list, never sold
- It opens by checking you asked for it. Say no and it stops and never rings again
- Your number is washed against the Do Not Call Register before we dial
The cadence
Eight business days, then it stops.
A cold prospect is not a lead, and pretending otherwise is how a list gets burned. Dialessa works each contact on a fixed sequence, at a different time of day each attempt, and then leaves them alone.
Call
First attempt. Voicemail dropped if the machine picks up, followed by an email within the hour.
Call
Second attempt, deliberately at a different hour. Morning misses often connect after lunch.
Call
Final attempt. A better time or a direct number offered by reception is used here.
Last touch, sent from your domain, not ours, with a working unsubscribe.
Exhausted
No further contact. A reply, a booking or a “don’t call me” ends the sequence immediately.
On the call
The hard parts are the whole job.
Gatekeepers
Asks for the person by name, answers “what’s this regarding” without waffling, accepts a transfer, and writes down a better time or a direct number when one is offered.
Objections
Not interested, send me an email, we have a vendor, bad time, who is this. Responses are yours, written per campaign, and it knows when to leave politely rather than push.
Voicemail
Answering machines are detected and get a recorded drop in your campaign’s voice, not a live model talking to a beep, followed by the email touch.
Qualification
Two to four questions you set, asked inside the conversation rather than read off a form.
Booking
Reads real availability from your calendar, offers two slots, confirms, creates the event with the prospect on it, and sends the confirmation and an SMS reminder.
SMS that answers back
Sent from a real Australian mobile number, not an alphanumeric header that lands in the scam folder. Replies come back to the same thread and the agent answers them. STOP works, instantly and permanently.
Live transfer
If a closer is marked available, a hot prospect goes straight through. If not, it books. Dial pacing is kept low on purpose so a human can actually take the call.
A call, end to end
What it sounds like when it works.
Reception screens it, the prospect has a vendor already, and it still gets the meeting. Written to show the shape of the conversation, not a recording of a real customer.
Morning, this is Ava calling on behalf of Kestrel Freight Systems. I’m an AI assistant. Is Daniel Roche about?
What’s this regarding?
Detention charges at the dock. I’d like ninety seconds with Daniel to find out if it’s even relevant. If it’s not, I’ll leave him alone.
→ transferred
Roche speaking.
Daniel, it’s Ava, an AI assistant calling for Kestrel Freight. You won’t have heard of us. Thirty seconds, then you can tell me to go away?
We already use Cartage Pro.
Most people we ring do. The ones who move usually do it over detention billing disputes rather than routing. Is that a live argument for you at the moment?
…It is, actually. We wrote off about forty grand last quarter.
I’ve got Thursday 10:30 or Friday 2:00, both Sydney time. Which one suits?
Thursday.
Booked. Invite’s on the way to your work address, and I’ll text you a reminder Thursday morning.
What you get back
Every call recorded, transcribed, scored and costed.
The number that decides whether this is worth a subscription is cost per meeting held, so that is the number the dashboard leads with, not dials.
Connect rate by hour
Which hours actually connect for your market, so the cadence can be pointed at them.
Hang-up timing
A histogram of when people hang up. A spike under ten seconds is an opener problem, and it is measured rather than guessed at.
Opener A/B
Two openers, split automatically, reported on hang-ups and meetings rather than on impressions.
Gatekeeper rate
How often the call reaches a switchboard, and how often it gets through it.
Meetings held
Booked is easy. Held is the one that pays, so attendance is tracked and confirmed within 48 hours.
Cost per meeting
Subscription plus overage divided by meetings held. The figure you take to your own board.
Compliance
Built for the rules, not retrofitted to them.
Australia is the launch market and business numbers are the target. These are mechanisms in the product, not policies in a document.
| Obligation | What Dialessa does |
|---|---|
| Do Not Call Register | Numbers are washed before a campaign starts and re-washed on a 30 day cycle. A number that is not currently washed cannot be dialled, and the wash record is kept as evidence. |
| Calling hours | Business default 09:00 to 17:30 local weekdays, in the prospect’s own timezone inferred from their number. Never on a public holiday in their state, never on a Sunday. |
| Identifying the caller | Every call states that it is an AI assistant, the business it is calling on behalf of, and the purpose, before anything is asked for. The exact wording used is recorded against the call. |
| Calling line identification | Caller ID is a real Australian number owned by Dialessa that answers. Ringing it back reaches an opt-out and a callback option. Numbers are never spoofed. |
| Opting out | “Take me off your list” is honoured on the call, permanently, for that number and email, across every customer on the platform, not just the one who called. |
| Cadence email is sent from your own delegated subdomain with DKIM, SPF and DMARC, a real reply path, and one-click unsubscribe on every message. Never from a Dialessa address. | |
| SMS | The Do Not Call Register does not cover SMS, the Spam Act does. So every message needs a lawful basis, which we record per contact along with where it came from. Sent from a real Australian mobile number so replies and STOP actually work, and so we are outside the SMS Sender ID Register rather than stamped “Unverified” alongside the scammers. |
| Recording consent | Australia is not a one-party consent country, and recordings are shared with you, who is not a party to the call. So every call announces the recording and asks. Recording is off at the network level until someone agrees. Decline and the call continues, unrecorded. |
| Asking who we are | A call using a synthetic voice must be able to hand over the caller’s details on request. Ask “who is this” and you get our business name, the client’s details, and a staffed Australian number for complaints. That answer is scripted, not improvised by the model. |
| Records | Calls are transcribed and checked afterwards for disclosure, opt-out handling and claims made. A campaign that fails those checks past a threshold pauses itself. |
| United States | Blocked. AI voice is treated as artificial under the TCPA and the litigation risk is not worth it. Australian numbers only. |
Integrations
It has to fit the stack you already sell with.
Dialessa is in build, so this is what ships, not what is running today. Everything unmarked is included on every tier. If something you depend on is missing, say so before you subscribe and we will tell you honestly whether it is close.
Where the list comes from
- CSV upload, with column mapping for messy exports
- Apollo your key
- Cognism your key
- Lusha your key
- ZoomInfo your key
- Firmable your key
- Clay, pushed to us Scale
Bring your own key means the data cost stays yours and nothing is marked up. You do not need any of them: a CSV works.
Where the meetings go
- Google Calendar
- Outlook
- Calendly
- Cal.com
- HubSpot
- Pipedrive
- Salesforce Scale
- Slack alerts on booked meetings
- SMS reminders before every meeting
Everything else
- Outbound webhooks on every event
- Inbound webhook for speed to lead
- Zapier
- Make
- REST API Scale
- Custom integrations Scale
A booked meeting, a do-not-call request and a completed call all fire a webhook, so anything not listed here can still be wired up.
Pricing
Flat monthly, by dial volume.
A dial is an attempt that reaches ringing. Invalid and failed numbers are not billed. Overage beyond your tier is charged per dial, or you can set a hard stop instead.
What it costs per meeting
We have no case studies yet, so these are your assumptions and our arithmetic. Move the sliders to whatever you believe about your own market.
| Tier | Dials | Conversations | Meetings | Cost per meeting |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 2,000 | 160 | 11 | $88 |
| Growth | 6,000 | 480 | 34 | $74 |
| Scale | 15,000 | 1,200 | 84 | $59 |
Meetings booked, not held. An appointment-setting agency in Australia typically charges a few hundred dollars a meeting, so the comparison is the point rather than the precision.

Yearly plans are billed once up front and work out at ten months for twelve. Billing starts immediately and you can cancel at any time. Email and SMS touches are included in every tier. Overage beyond your dial allowance is charged per dial, or set a hard stop and we simply stop dialling.
Why this is not a US tool with an Australian phone number
The legality of AI cold calling is decided per country, and nobody else has done Australia.
The large AI voice platforms are built for the United States, where the rules are different and where cold AI calling is largely not viable. Pointed at Australian numbers they will happily break the Do Not Call Register Act and the telemarketing standard for you. These are the parts we built rather than bolted on.
| What Australian buyers ask | Answer |
|---|---|
| Do you scrub against the Do Not Call Register? | Every number, before every campaign, and again in real time at the moment of dialling. A number that has not been washed cannot be dialled: it is a database constraint, not a checkbox. The wash evidence is retained, because washing is a legal defence and the evidence is the defence. |
| Does it say it is an AI? | In the first sentence, every call, along with who we are and who we are calling for. Which wording was used is recorded against the call. |
| What about calling hours? | Business default 09:00 to 17:30 in the prospect’s own timezone, inferred from their number. Never a Sunday, never a public holiday in their state. The campaign window can be tightened but never widened past what the law allows. |
| Who is legally making the call? | Trainset AI Pty Ltd, ABN 24 690 826 610, trading as Dialessa, on your behalf. Both are named on the call. Our contract carries the Do Not Call Register Act compliance covenant, which is itself a legal requirement most vendors omit. |
| Are you calling the United States? | No. It is blocked at the dialler by country code. AI voice is treated as artificial under the TCPA and the litigation exposure is not worth it at any price. |

Dialessa is built and run in Australia. Prospect data stays in Sydney. Live call audio is processed by a speech model hosted in the United States, which is disclosed in our privacy terms and in every customer agreement.
